Elim is a Pentecostal denomination with some 550 churches througout the UK and working in over 40 nations of the world. Our International Centre is in Malvern and hosts our national offices, our training centres and a conference centre. For full information go to www.elim.org.uk

Some have wondered why the name 'ELIM' was adopted. Probably two things influenced George Jeffreys' choice. Many churches in his native Wales had biblical names - Bethel, Bethesda, Carmel, Shiloh and so on.

George Jeffreys (1889 - 1962), the founder of the Elim Pentecostal Churches, was undoubtedly one of the greatest evangelists of the twentieth century.
